I remember

My parents were the eldest son and daughter of both families and got married through an arranged marriage while still students.
I, too, am the eldest son.
For some reason, many of the eldest sons and daughters from my elementary and junior high school alma mater seemed to be from the same background.
It was a large school in a generation and region where that was the norm.
Even now, my younger sister sometimes complains.
I was always treated differently when it came to New Year’s money or Christmas presents.
I wasn’t treated equally with my siblings.
The concept of “head of the family" still existed in society.
As a result, I always felt expected to be the leader from a young age.
At school, every year’s class election, to decide who would be the class leader, was always tense.
I’ve only ever been the class leader or the head of the library committee.
What were the results of that upbringing once I became an adult?
I was taught morals and ethics.
However, society turned out to be very different from the world of great figures I had read about in books.
I’ve often said too much, and have been criticized by the industry many times in my life.
Now, I understand, but when I was young, I truly tried to stand up against society’s absurdities and injustices.
I had courage and energy, but that didn’t always result in victory.
Despite becoming worn out, the members of Koyama G stayed together, and the organization grew larger.
There are now so many Koyama G corporations that we are preparing for a merger.
Headquarters staff from various corporations are gathering at the Ginza central office.
Respecting diverse regional and cultural characteristics, we are reorganizing into a large fleet.
From the feudal system to the Reiwa Restoration.
We aim for a world of healthcare and welfare with ethics and justice.
I’ve lived a life I didn’t want to remember the past in.
But when I write this diary, I remember.
The past failures and the history of Koyama G’s rebirth.
My life of resentment, hatred, and regret.
On top of that, I want to forget those memories once more.
Koyama’s campus can be rewritten as many times as necessary.
At yesterday’s dinner, I was able to find a new life goal.
I want you to watch closely the new Koyama G.
I slept soundly until 5 a.m.
That’s unusual for me.

Almonds and Pocky were delicious for my late-night snack.
